Brave Together
A global initiative to support everyone experiencing anxiety and depression. In partnership with our community of mental health experts, we've created support tools to help navigate everything from spotting the signs, to how to practice self care, to exploring resources.
Our Mission
Created to help destigmatize anxiety and depression, and offer access to free 1-to-1 support. We believe that no one should have to face anxiety or depression alone, and that starting the conversation is the first step toward getting help.
Know the Warning Signs
Working alongside mental health experts, we've gathered some of the most common signs that someone may be experiencing a mental health problem. Recognizing them is one of the most important things you can do for the people you care about:
- Feeling very sad or withdrawn for more than two weeks
- Trying to harm or end one's life, or making plans to do so
- Severe, out-of-control, risk-taking behavior that causes harm
- Sudden overwhelming fear for no reason, sometimes with a racing heart
- Significant weight loss or gain
- Seeing, hearing, or believing things that aren't real
- Excessive use of alcohol or drugs
- Drastic changes in mood, behavior, personality, or sleeping habits
- Extreme difficulty concentrating or staying still
- Intense worries or fears that get in the way of daily activities
Start a Brave Talk
Brave Talk is a free digital training that helps you learn how to talk with a friend who may be struggling. The guiding principle is simple: share what you notice and ask about it. A short, honest conversation can make a real difference for someone who is going through a hard time.
If You Need Support
If you are feeling anxious or depressed, please know that you are not alone and that help is available. Reaching out to a trained crisis counselor or mental health professional can be an important first step, and speaking with someone you trust can help too.
